Kahroba is an associate in Dentons’ Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice in Dubai and specializes in privacy and cybersecurity.

She has experience advising clients from a wide range of sectors, including technology, financial services, automotive and healthcare and across various jurisdictions, such as the KSA, the UAE, the EU and the UK, on data protection governance, global data transfers, data localization requirements, data processor engagement, and data incident responses to cybersecurity breaches. She has advised global clients on the territorial scope of the data protection laws in several jurisdictions, including the application of the data protection laws in the KSA, UAE, EU and UK to client business activities.

She has led on several gap analysis projects for clients that operate in various EMEA markets, and has driven several large data protection upheaval projects for companies – this involved preparing all privacy related documentation and policies / processes and working with clients to ensure these were operationalized. She has also advised one of the largest social media platform companies in the world on complex advertising and direct marketing initiatives, data transfer solutions and expansion projects.
